Our Team
Since opening our clinic in 2017, we have cared for patients who feel completely comfortable with dentures and others who may feel nervous or apprehensive about the process. Whatever your situation, you can be confident you are in experienced and caring hands. Our priority is your comfort, and we are committed to making your journey to a new smile as smooth and supportive as possible.
Desan
I’ve been in the dental industry for more than 25 years, starting my journey in South Africa, where I graduated from Technikon Natal. In 2009, I furthered my training by graduating as a Clinical Dental Technician from Otago University here in New Zealand.
My focus is on creating dentures that look natural, feel comfortable, and make a real difference in people’s lives. I believe it’s just as important to listen and understand each person’s needs as it is to get the technical details right, and I work hard to make every appointment a positive experience.
Outside of the clinic, I’m passionate about Formula 1 and music – two things that keep me inspired and energised for the work I love doing every day.

I graduated as a Clinical Dental Technician from the University of Otago and I gained valuable experience working in the South Island. To me, dental technology is more than just creating dentures—it’s an art that enhances patients’ quality of life and boosts their confidence. I am committed to providing patient-centered, evidence-based, and stress-free dental treatments. Outside of work, I enjoy playing the piano, composing music, and staying active through various sports.

I’ve been a Dental Technician since graduating from Otago University in 2008. My real passion isn’t just making dentures – it’s helping people feel happy and confident when they smile.
I was born in Transylvania, Romania (yes, the land of vampires!), but these days you’ll find me in the lab, creating dentures with care and attention to detail. The best part of my job is seeing the joy on a patient’s face when they see their new smile for the first time.
When I’m not at work, I’m usually curled up with a good book, painting, or finding new ways to add colour and creativity to life.
